Post #3 My favourite piece of technology

 

Hello again!

Today I tell you that my favorite technological object is cards. And I'm not just talking about the credit cards that make us indebted, I'm talking about... all of them: debit card, school pass, memberships, among others.

I usually use the debit card and the school pass. I use the debit card to pay in stores and the best of it is that it is just another payment method, since it is equivalent to real money, which already exists! but that I have saved in the bank.

I use the school pass to pay for public transport, it is also great because I put it on a sensor that indicates that I am a student and they charge me less.

I think that cards have a positive effect on our lives since it simplify and speed up our day to day, because just by bringing the chip on it near to a sensor, a purchase or identification was made.

I recommend the cards because it is a safer way to pay and also each one of these (specific), has benefits.

 Hello again! Today I come to show you a photograph I took when I went to school. This photo means for me all the childish, innocent and cunning spirit of a kid that I had with my friends from school when we were 16 years old. It is very interesting for me because at our 16 years old, we still played like children and got into trouble, and this photo shows one of many of them and the smile shows how much fun we had. The day of the photo we were playing like any other day. We played with a ball of paper. The idea was to throw it at another and hit it so that it did not fall to the deck. However, that day, we threw it so hard that it got caught in the branches of the tree. We already had lost other paper balls, that's why we didn't want it to happen again. We asked our tallest friend (who was 1.75 meters) to get it out, even so, she couldn't do it and had to climb on a chair and take a stick from the end. Hello again! Today I'm here to talk to you about a website called Spectral Database for Organic Compounds (this is its link: sdbs.db.aist.go.jp). On this website, which is of Japanese origin, there are a large and varied number of spectra of organic compounds, their signals show the point on the x-axis and clearly indicate the bonds they are representing. I usually check the infrared and nuclear proton spectra once a week. I use it to answer the lab reports of university. I like the page because it provides exact information and very easy to understand. However, there is something that I don't like about this website and that is that only my cell phone works well, on the computer it never loads and that frustrates me. But, I recommend it. I recommend this website to my lab partners and of course to anyone who is studying the spectroscopy of organic compounds. This page gets you out of any tight spot!
